Department of Business and Industry to host annual Nevada Small Business Resource Fair and job fair next week
Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to attend the free Nevada Small Business Resource Fair powered by the Nevada Department of Business and Industry on Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sahara West Library, located at 9600 W. Sahara Avenue.
The annual event is taking place during National Small Business Week 2026, an initiative of the Small Business Administration, which celebrates the resiliency and tenacity of America’s entrepreneurs who are doing their part to power our nation’s economy.
The Nevada Small Business Resource Fair is a one-stop shop for new or existing business owners to make connections and learn about business structure, taxes, licensing, funding, hiring help, marketing, and more. The fair will feature 50+ government and nonprofit exhibitors from Nevada’s dedicated small business and entrepreneurship support community offering free resources and information.
Walk-ins are welcome, but online pre-registration is encouraged. Registration can be completed at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2026-nevada-small-business-resource-fair-tickets-1985405137211.
For the first time, a Department of Business and Industry Job Fair will be co-located with the resource fair. Explore over 100 positions throughout the department, speak to hiring managers and apply for positions on-site. Attendees are encouraged to browse positions and create and job seeker profile prior to attending at www.governmentjobs.com/careers/nv.
Food trucks will be on-site so attendees can grab lunch or a snack. Library parking lot is limited, street parking is available on S. Grand Canyon Drive and Preakness Pass.
