What you can submit
Use the Complaint Form to submit a complaint, concern, or recognition related to a Nevada occupational or licensing Board or a licensee regulated by a Nevada occupational or licensing Board. Submissions may relate to Board administrative practices, Board processes, or alleged conduct of a regulated licensee within the Board’s statutory authority.
What our Office does
Our Office serves as a centralized intake, coordination, and oversight entity for Nevada occupational and licensing Boards. We review submissions to determine whether they fall within our jurisdiction and to support consistent administration of Boards and Commissions. When appropriate, we refer submissions to the relevant Board for review and response consistent with applicable statutory authority. Referral of a submission does not imply wrongdoing, predetermine an outcome, or replace any Boards independent decision-making authority.
What our Office cannot do
Our Office does not investigate individual licensees, provide legal advice, act as a representative for any party, impose discipline or overturn Board decisions. We do not reopen hearings or direct the outcome of investigations or enforcement actions. If your concern involves a matter currently in litigation or already decided by a court, our ability to take further action may be limited.
Before you submit
If your concern involves a specific Board process, you may wish to contact the Board directly first when appropriate. If you have already contacted the Board, include the date and any case or reference number.
What to include
To help us evaluate and route your submission, please include the Board involved, the name of the licensee or business if applicable, a clear description of the issue or recognition, relevant dates and locations, any case number or reference number if known, and what actions have already been taken, including contact with the Board.
Confidentiality and records
Your submission may be shared with the appropriate Board for review and response. Information may be subject to applicable public records and records retention requirements. Please do not include sensitive personal information (SPI) that is not necessary to explain your concern, such as Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, or medical information
Supporting documents
If you indicate you have supporting documents, staff will contact you to request them. Submit digital copies via email ensuring you keep a copy for your records.
What happens next
We will review your submission for completeness and jurisdiction and route it as appropriate. If clarification is needed, we may contact you using the information you provide. Response timelines vary depending on the matter and the receiving Board.
